#CHECKOUT: Pastor Charged With Spreading HIV; Seeks Women on Online Dating Site

Pastor Rodney Carr has been charged with spreading HIV, but he continues to search for women to date. According to WREG in Memphis, Carr has a profile on the popular dating site, BlackPeopleMeet.com.

Carr was identified by a person who saw a news report that discussed the charges he faces. Carr was diagnosed with HIV in 2005. He began dating a woman in 2010 and 2011 with whom he had unprotected sex without revealing his status.

During a routine checkup, the woman asked for an HIV test and the results came back positive. The woman said that she only had sex with Carr and her husband. The woman’s husband is HIV negative.

The woman told authorities she trusted Carr and had unprotected sex with him because he was a pastor and believed he was clean. Anyone who is infected with HIV or a STD must notify his or her partners before engaging in sex.

Well, according to reports, if Carr is found guilty, he may face two years in prison and a $500 fine.
