Evil have found another name in the land, as Black South Africans have began allaying fear of other nations and tribes, especially from the African region and they have began attacking lives and properties of foreigners. This action is not going down well for neighboring countries as Africans and the world are condemning the attack, claiming that South Africans have forgotten so soon that when they were under oppression from the Apartheid system, Africans and foreigners jointly fought for their liberation.
Also, President Jacob Zuma condemned the recent violence, which have claimed at least five lives, as “shocking”, and called for calm to be restored.
The Zulu king has been accused of fueling the attacks. He denies this.
Many jobless South Africans accuse foreigners of taking jobs in a country where the unemployment rate is 24%.
“No amount of frustration or anger can justify the attacks on foreign nationals and the looting of their shops,” President Zuma told parliament on Thursday.
