The 20-year-old England star has reportedly put his house in Southport up for sale.
And it’s all because he is desperate to get back to where he grew up.
Manchester United and City are both monitoring Sterling’s contract situation with him refusing to sign a new deal.
Sterling’s agent Aidy Ward last week claimed he’d even reject £900,000-a-week if Liverpool offered it.
But the Manchester giants are likely to miss out on signing him.
Liverpool are adamant they won’t sell but they risk losing Sterling for nothing when his contract expires in June 2017.
Sterling grew up in Wembley and has the iconic arch tattooed on his arm.
He learnt his trade playing for QPR and is claimed to enjoy life far more down south.
Sterling was left out of Brendan Rodgers’ side that went down 6-1 to Stoke on Saturday.
He was heavily taunted by angry Liverpool fans after telling the club he wants to leave in the summer.
